Nice to meet you! My name is Ruth. I am a clinical psychologist and drama therapist from Israel.
Unfortunately, my country has been at war for a long time. This fact made me, as a psychotherapist, gain tremendous experience in working with the mental consequences of war. Most of my work focuses specifically on helping women who have been sexually assaulted. I also cooperate with the Israel Trauma Coalition and provide psychosocial support to people who have suffered from various disasters, including war.
Glad to see you on the way to healing — you've already taken the first step if you're reading this. From my 20 years of work experience, I can confidently say that therapy with a psychologist is the surest way to psychological recovery. Choose your specialist now! Fill out the questionnaire to participate in the project — it's anonymous and free of charge! We will help you overcome a traumatic experience and start a new life!
I got my first experience back in 2006 in a project for orphans as an instructor-educator in the Yimin Ord religious youth village.
In 2010 I completed a clinical internship in a multidisciplinary center for women. I was also responsible for a space for girls and a group facilitator for dysfunctional youth in the association "Alam."
From 2009 to 2014, I was the head of prevention workshops at the Center for Helping Victims of Rape and Sexual Assault. In addition, as a drama therapist, I conducted training for parents and cared for children at the Multidisciplinary Center in Kiryat Eliezer (Israel).
In 2010-2011, I completed a clinical internship in drama therapy at the Mazra Psychiatric Hospital.
From 2012 to 2020, I worked with teenagers and parents — as a parent mentor within the framework of "Parental Management" (program and MLL) and as a drama therapist and field therapy coordinator at the Marom School (teenagers, post-hospitalization).
Since 2014, I've been caring for the Ella Association and working with Holocaust survivors. In addition, I work with injuries, losses, and bereavement.
Since 2015, I have been a therapist in a private clinic in Kibbutz Yagur, providing individual treatment for adults and teenagers.
Since 2022 and until today, I have been cooperating with the Israel Trauma Coalition; within the program, I provide psychosocial support to people suffering from various disasters, including war.
